Prefabs2009.org is a website presenting a 3 months journey around the United States from August and November 2009 by an Architect and a Video maker to discover prefab constructions, their architects and their protagonists.
This project is supported by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) through the Delano Aldrich stipend.
In the case study section, you’ll find a presentation of prefab constructions we have discovered through books and internet that we would like to visit during the trip. This section is a basic start of our research which will be our starting point for the trip. In the road map section, you’ll find the itinerary planned before the journey. Finally, in the video section, you’ll find the video which presents a discussion between Architects we met during our journey in 2009.
